Nature was generous with this Mediterranean island of 3,626 km2. The island has majestic mountains, beaches, whit calm waters, clear skies and mild in winter and warm summer weather. Friendly environment and strategic location has made it a meeting place for peoples and civilizations.
Mallorca has welcomed arabs, greeks, phoenicians,romans, vandals, bizantines, spanihs, and europeans of any kind of backgrounds and nationalities.
This mix of cultures have configured a heritage that enhances the natural attraction of the island and has shaped the hospitable nature of the people.

Looking at the sea
Mallorca has 565 km of coastline and 208 beaches. It’s maritime tradition has drawn coastal landscape of villages on the coast that bind to the new residential areas created for tourism.
Over 40 % of the territory of the island is protected natural areas including large landscape interest. Highlight among them the Sierra de Tramontana declared World Heritage by Unesco.
Close to everything
The capital Palma is a cosmopolitan city with intense economic and commercial cultural life. Its more than 400.000 inhabitans enjoys varied leisure and modern transport infrastructures. The airport is third in Spain in annual volume of passenger, just behind Madrid and Barcelona, and offers direct flights to major european capitals.
